USM seeks bids for Single Wall Noninsulated Vertical Towers and Assoc. Accessories

The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast Research Laboratory is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase and delivery of ten 10,000-gallon single-wall non-insulated vertical storage tanks and associated accessories for use in a recirculating aquaculture system. The required tanks must be new, unused, and of current production, featuring rotationally molded HDPE construction that is non-toxic, corrosion-resistant, and compliant with NSF/ANSI Standard 61 and FDA standards. Preferred specifications include the Snyder Industries Model No. 32036 or an approved equal, with dimensions of approximately 142 inches in diameter and 166.5 inches in height, equipped with a 26-inch threaded vented lid, three 2-inch polypropylene bulkhead fittings at the bottom, and one to five additional 2-inch fittings in a reinforced dome. Bids must be submitted by October 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. CST. The contract is awarded on a destination basis (FOB Destination) to the University of Southern Mississippi, requiring the vendor to coordinate delivery schedules and provide manufacturer-recommended unloading and handling procedures prior to shipment. All shipments must include a packing list and relevant installation and maintenance documentation. Payment terms are established as 2% ten days, net 45 days in accordance with Mississippi law. Technical compliance is mandatory, and while equivalent products may be proposed, they must be supported by detailed documentation demonstrating equal performance, design, and durability.
