THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool being used to determine potential and eligible business firms that are capable of providing the equipment described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Quote. The NAICS for this requirement is 336212 Truck Trailer Manufacturing with a size standard of 1,000 people. All interested firms are encouraged to respond, regardless of business size. The results of this Sources Sought will be utilized to determine if any Small Business Set-aside opportunities exist. All Small Business Set-aside categories will be considered. In addition, this market research tool is being used to identify potential and eligible firms, of all sizes, prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The 105th Airlift Wing is seeking sources to provide a customized solution to outfit a 2016 International 4300 Stake Pocket Truck with an enclosed truck cap to support mission requirements. The truck bed measures 16'L x 8'W. The truck cap would have to be bolted with an inside height clearance of 7'. This customized solution would include design, manufacture, and installation to complete the project in its entirety. All interested offerors should provide a brief capability statement of available equipment and delivery capabilities. The capability statement should include, as a minimum, product literature, contractors business size and socioeconomic status, Cage Code and DUNS number, and a point of contact with name, title, phone and fax number and email address.
