Cutting & Beveling Machine Kit and Air Motor

The Research Accelerator Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory is seeking to procure a Wachs Model "Dynapre" MDSF Cutting & Beveling Machine Kit for 2" to 6" O.D. tubing and a 3HP MODEC Air Motor with right-angle W/spline adaptation, on/off trigger, and roll-around ATM, or approved domestic equivalents, under a firm fixed price contract with a solicitation number of 470395. The procurement is governed by FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal and falls under NAICS code 333517 for Machine Tool Manufacturing with a size standard of 500 employees and no set-aside. Technical acceptability and full compliance with solicitation requirements are mandatory for award consideration, and selection will be based on the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. The machine kit includes specific components such as a 2"–6" rotating ring, 23-tooth splined pinion set, 4-jaw chuck system, rapid retract tool slide, trip assembly, spare fasteners, hand tools, and a storage case with manual.
