Cybersecurity Compliance & CMMC Level 2 Implementation

This contract entails the implementation and ongoing maintenance of cybersecurity controls aligned with NIST SP 800-171 to ensure proper handling of Controlled Unclassified Information in compliance with DFARS 252.204-7012. The work focuses on establishing, documenting, and operationalizing the required security controls across information systems and organizational processes, with the ultimate goal of achieving readiness for a third-party CMMC Level 2 assessment. Success requires a systematic approach to policy development, employee training, technical configuration, continuous monitoring, and remediation of gaps to meet the stringent standards set by the Department of Defense for contractors handling sensitive unclassified data. The engagement is structured as a subcontract under the Defense Logistics Agency, operating within the broader Department of Defense framework. The National Institute of Standards and Technology controls must be fully integrated into the provider’s cybersecurity posture, covering areas such as access control, audit and accountability, configuration management, and incident response.
