Cybersecurity Compliance and Incident Reporting Support

This contract provides support for achieving and maintaining compliance with NIST SP 800-171 standards to safeguard covered defense information, ensuring that all required security controls are implemented and operational within the contractor’s systems. It mandates the protection of sensitive data as defined under DFARS 252.204-7012 and 7014, requiring robust cybersecurity practices to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss of covered defense information. The contractor is obligated to detect, report, and respond to cyber incidents within 72 hours through the Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity and Incident Reporting portal, DIBNet, to ensure timely coordination with federal authorities and maintain the integrity of the defense supply chain. Compliance is non-negotiable and must be continuously monitored, documented, and auditable to meet Department of Defense contractual obligations, with all activities performed under the auspices of the Defense Logistics Agency.
