Cybersecurity Compliance and Incident Response

This contract requires the implementation of NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity controls to protect covered defense information on all associated systems. It mandates ongoing compliance with these standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data handled within the defense supply chain. The contractor must establish and maintain processes to detect, report, and respond to cyber incidents through the Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity and Incident Reporting Portal, ensuring timely and accurate submission of incident data as required by federal regulations. Additionally, the contract demands the retention of forensic data for a defined period to support investigation and analysis of security breaches, enabling effective response and remediation activities. All activities must be conducted in alignment with Department of Defense requirements, under the oversight of the Defense Logistics Agency, and performed in support of critical defense infrastructure systems.
