Cybersecurity Compliance and IT Support

The contract requires ongoing maintenance of NIST SP 800-171 compliance for all systems that process, store, or transmit controlled unclassified information, with a focus on continuous assessment, prompt remediation through plan of action and milestones management, and immediate reporting of cyber incidents via the Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Information Sharing Portal within seventy-two hours of detection. All activities must align with Department of Defense cybersecurity standards and be executed in support of the Defense Logistics Agency’s operational requirements. IT support services under this subcontract are designed to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of sensitive information systems, with strict adherence to federal cybersecurity frameworks. The contractor is expected to implement proactive monitoring, vulnerability mitigation, and documentation practices to sustain compliance, while also responding swiftly to emerging threats or regulatory changes. This effort is critical to safeguarding national defense information and maintaining eligibility for continued DoD contracting opportunities.
