This contract will be accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source due to a unique capability provided, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 6.302-1). See posted J&A for further information. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) and FAR 5.202(a)(13) to Plexsys Interface Products, Inc to provide exercise simulation support. The support includes training personnel and all required IT equipment to provide a working interface between Navy radar systems and the Air Force AN-TYQ-23 system. The contractor must be certified by Air Combat Command (ACC) to provide these services. This support will be provided to the Utah Air National Guard, 109th ACS. The proposed action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. See attached Justification and Approval. This notice is for information only; IT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR SOLICITATION FOR OFFERS. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing to 151 ARW/MSC, ATTN: MSgt Chad Heard, 765 North 2200 West, Salt Lake City, Utah 84116 or chad.heard@ang.af.mil. Responses to this notice must be submitted within 10 days after this posting.
