The Bureau of Indian Affairs is seeking information for commercial cellular wireless service to support approximately 55 government-owned smartphones and flip phones at the Wapato Irrigation Project in Washington. The selected provider must ensure consistent, uninterrupted coverage across more than 206 square miles of remote areas within the Yakama Reservation, specifically including White Swan, Ahtanum, and the Satus Ranger Station. Because program staff perform hazardous work, reliable communication is critical for life safety, and the government will disqualify any carrier that exhibits zero bars of service at three specific designated latitude and longitude coordinates. Interested contractors under NAICS code 517312 must submit their company information, DUNS number, and regional experience to the designated point of contact by the specified deadline. Resellers are permitted to apply provided they identify the proposed wireless service carrier. This request is for information purposes to help the government determine the appropriate procurement method and is not a formal request for quotes.
