Full Description

The USDA, Office of Procurement and Property Management, Procurement Operations Division intends to award a contract to CGI Federal to provide for management, and technical, support services to support the Associate Chief Financial Officer for Financial Systems (ACFO-FS) staff in the operations and maintenance of the Foundation Financial Information System (FFIS), a component of the Corporate Financial Management System (CFMS) within the Department. FFIS is the USDA version of the commercial off-the shelf CGI-Federal Management Services software, Federal Financial System (FFS). The period of performance shall be for seven years. USDA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with CGI-Federal Management Services. This acquisition is a sole source. Proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The applicable (NAICS) North American Industry Classification System Code is 541511 and the size standard is 23.0 M. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. No solicitation exists. All interested parties shall respond to this notice within 5 days in writing to Ellery Taylor at ellery.taylor@usda.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted.
