Full Description

The 38th EIG/PKK intends to procure on a sole source basis local telephone service for Mountain Home AFB Idaho. The intended contractor is Qwest Government Services Inc. Qwest shall provide the following services: local access, switching, transport, and related functions at Mountain Home AFB. The local exchange service shall include trunking, business lines and private lines. The period of performance shall be five years from the date of contract award. The primary place of performance will be Mountain Home AFB Idaho. This sole source acquisition is justified under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). A sources sought market survey synopsis was conducted and no respnses except the incumbent were received. The government intends to issue a Communication Service Authorization (CSA) written against the PKK Basic Agreement of F34608-98-H-5015.
