D--ENVI LICENCE & ENVI ACM MAINTENANCE

The Department of Defense, through the Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Gordon, Georgia, is seeking to acquire ENVI license and ENVI ACM maintenance services for a one-year period to support the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade at Fort Gordon. This procurement will be conducted as a sole source acquisition from Research Systems, Inc., operating as ITT Visual Information Solutions, under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in line with FAR Part 13 and authorized by 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), which allows contracting from only one responsible source. The government intends to issue a base contract using FAR Part 12 for the acquisition of a commercial item, and no competitive solicitation will be issued since this is not a request for competitive offers.
