This notice does not constitute an intent to issue a solicitation. Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) has a requirement to extend the Period of Performance for its wired telephone services contract, MCC-04-0042-CFO, with Focal/Broadwing Communications through December 31, 2007. This contract is for the monthly lease of two Primary Rate Interface (PRI) lines that provides for local, domestic long distance and international long distance telephone service to the Millennium Challenge Corporation. The MCC is currently defining its requirements for an 'enterprise' solution for its telephone services. As such, MCC requires adequate time for refinement of the consolidated requirements and re-competition. Interested vendors may submit a capability statement and detailed pricing which will be considered by the agency.
