The Department of Defense requires additional effort for the continuation of the development, operational testing, and implementation of a Law Enforcement Technical Center (LETC) for Iraq. The Government intends to award this effort to Technical and Management Services Corporation (TAMSCO) under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. TAMSCO and its sub-contractors designed, integrated and tested the LETC. The Government has determined that award of this effort to any other source woul d result in duplication of costs to the Government and unacceptable delays in implementing the LETC. The period of performance is through 30SEP07 and will be added to the current LETC effort under existing Contract W9113M-05-C-0139. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals to the U. S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, P.O. Box 1500, Huntsville, AL 35807-3801, ATTN: SMDC-RDCM-AK/Koger. This notice of intent is not a request for pr oposal from any source other than TAMSCO; however, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. The Government point of contact for this action is O. Wayne Koger at +1 (555) 000-0000 or wayne.koger@)smdc.army.mil.
