The 38 EIG/PKK intends to issue a solicitation on a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for 75 CS/CC at Hill AFB, UT. The solicitation will be issued on or about 31 Mar 08. The proposed contract will be for five years. The local exchange service provider certified by the Utah Public Service Commission shall provide local commercial communications service for 75 CS/CC at Hill AFB, UT. Local communications service shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, DIDs, Commercial Subscriber Lines, Optional Subscriber Line Features, Digital ISDN PRI, Transport Channels, Diversity, Number Portability, Public Listings, Operator and Directory Assistance, local and Intra-LATA access, and interconnection with Inter-LATA exchange carrier. Competition is open to domestic and foreign sources. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged and/or a women-owned businesses. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under NAICS 517110 with size standard of 1500 employees.
