Full Description

The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center - Fort Bragg intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Time Warner for the acquisition of basic cable services for a twelve (12) month base period. The Government has a franchise agreement with Time Warner Entertainment-Advance/Newhouse Partnership to provide cable television services on the Fort Bragg installation. This requirement is for the connection of approximately 261 outlets with a period of performance beginning 1 April 2015 through 31 March 2016. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: Award of this requirement will be in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 517110. This acquisition is entirely on an unrestricted basis. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals; however, any firm that believes they also have an existing franchise agreement to provide cable services on the Fort Bragg, North Carolina installation may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to verify the agreement to provide the requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Time Warner.
