The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) intends to issue, a solicitation and purchase order to BAE Systems, Inc., for annual software telephone support for BAE Systems HAG PIII for DII Guard Application and STOP Operating System. This requirement is for one year and no hardware support is required. Software must be National Security Agency approved at the Trusted Computer System Evaluation Criteria (TCSEC) Class B3 level. Software lease period is 1 year. Quantity of leases is seven. The RFQ document is available via email from Ms Jan Lanham at Janet.Lanham@DISA.MIL. Telephone: 618-229-9545. The BAE Systems HAG PIlI system is a turn-key hardware and software National Security Agency (NSA) approved computing platform that enables the PTC to offer services in cross-domain communications and secure messaging across multiple classification levels throughout the Pentagon's Command and Control Defense Messaging Network for its various customers. The HAG systems are composed of vendor proprietary hardware and software, and are a critical component consistent with the operating environments in which it runs. The PTC owns and uses several HAG systems which allow information to safely pass between protected secure classified networks, as well as between secure classified and unclassified networks. The HAG's hardware platform and software have been successfully evaluated by NSA's Trusted Computer System Evaluation Criteria (TCSEC), at the Class B3 level, to prove the system not only incorporated required security features, but has the ability to handle high levels of assurance and testing. To date, there are no other NSA approved systems that can replace the BAE HAG systems. Without the BAE Systems HAGs or its respective software support coverage, the PTC assumes sole operational risks and responsibility of the secured features of the HAG's software platform with no way to guarantee, restore, or successfully protect the messaging and communication exchanges between its secure classified and unclassified networks. The purchase/renewal of the BAE Systems HAG PIlI telephone support will ensure adequate software assurancefor the PTC's existing HAG systems which have undergone extensive NSA testing and received NSA approval to operate. The HAG systems have been technically accepted and proven interoperable with other PTC components, its communication infrastructure, and the Pentagon Enterprise Network. The BAE System HAG is the ONLY NSA approved product that is certified and authorized for use to support the PTC mission within DMS. The estimated cost is $30,000.
