The contract involves the transportation, preparation, scanning, conversion, storage, maintenance, and delivery of select patient health information documents in electronic form for the VA Central California Health Care System. The services include secure, HIPAA-compliant management of patient records, with documents indexed either manually or through automated systems by patient name, social security number, date of service, and document type.
