Full Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East, Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract to WaveMark Inc., a Cardinal Health Company, 300 Baker Ave, Ste 207, Concord, MA 01742. The period of performance for contract award will be September 30, 2021 to September 29, 2022 with no option years. This requirement is to provide service maintenance for the WaveMark inventory management system located at the NY Harbor Healthcare System (NYHHCS), Manhattan Campus, 423 East 23rd St., New York, NY 10010. The Contractor is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and will provide hardware maintenance, software maintenance, and support for the WaveMark equipment. The Government shall maintain the right to seek proof of qualification prior to award and anytime during contract period of performance. All work shall be performed by OEM certified field service engineer due to patents associated with the WaveMark product line. WaveMark Inc., a Cardinal Health Company is the only known provider since the equipment is proprietary and maintenance; therefore, only can be provided by WaveMark Inc., a Cardinal Health Company. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by August 25, 2021 at 10:00a.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to contact@example.gov.
