Special Notice Special Notice Page 2 of 2 *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 2 36C10A22Q0252 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), ), Office of Information Technology (OIT), Infrastructure Operations (IO), intends to award a firm fixed price sole-source contract to Open Software Technologies, Inc., for the purchase of the Open Software license and maintenance coverage on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) )(i), For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. The justification for this noncompetitive solicitation is due to Open Software Technologies, Inc. being the sole supplier. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541511 Custom Computer Programming Services with a size standard of $30M.
