Full Description

This is notice of award for a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Health Statistics, Hyattsville, MD, intends to solicit and enter into a contract with Development Infostructure Inc. for conversion of ICD-10-CM data files from Apleon DTS to publishing format. The Government's requirements are: 1) Automate the creation of ICD-10-CM files for publishing and distribution from structured output files from Apelon DTS; 2)ensure the resulting filers share the same look and feel and search capabilities as the existing solution, as supported by the data available; 3) test automated creation of ICD-10-CM files using current data in DTS; 4) verify updated ICD-10-CM data originating from DTS with current Folios Files. The Government intends to solicit, negotiate and award to only one contractor using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to the authority of USC 2304(c)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(2)(i), supplies or services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the needs of the agency. A determination not to compete this requirement is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement is not a request for competitive quotations. Interested parties who feel they possess the capabilities to provide the information described above should submit a capabilities statement demonstrating their ability to Rotravius Burch by email at contact@example.gov. No solicitation is available and telephone requests for information will not be honored. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government shall consider all responses received within three (3) days of this posting. A determination by the CDC not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notification, is solely within the discretion of the government.
