The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority is seeking to procure a DC Substation overhead door system under solicitation number 2098341, with a response deadline of May 27, 2026. All bids must comply with the attached Scope of Work, which outlines minimum technical requirements, and must be submitted through the BONFIRE portal after completing registration and accessing the BidTable. The contract requires FOB Destination delivery terms, meaning sellers must include all freight costs in their quoted price, and DART will not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery timing is critical, and failure to meet agreed-upon schedules may result in immediate rejection or termination for default. Payment terms are Net 30, with invoices submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate, including the original marked as such, and must contain the purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit and extended prices, and total amounts. Acceptance occurs at the destination, and all goods must meet commercial standards of merchantable quality and suitability for use as defined in the contract. Termination for default applies if the seller fails to perform per contract terms, while termination for convenience is possible if the failure is beyond the seller’s control. The seller must certify compliance with Texas laws prohibiting participation in any boycott of Israel and must confirm no ties to Foreign Terrorist Organizations as listed by the Texas Comptroller. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue exclusively in Dallas County, and DART is exempt from state and local sales taxes, so invoices must not include them. Assignment of the contract requires prior written consent from the Contracting Officer, and equal opportunity employment and subcontracting practices are mandatory. No specific contract value is disclosed publicly, and no evaluation factors or award criteria are provided, suggesting selection may be based on lowest price technically acceptable, though this is not officially stated. The place of performance is in Texas, with exact location implied by the project ID WF#3125116, and no packaging, labeling, or barcoding specifications are included. No UEI, CAGE code, or socioeconomic certifications are required, and no detailed delivery schedule is provided beyond the emphasis on time being of the essence.
