DCA-70535-6J Repair Fence Posts Heaving Out of Ground

***THE ENTIRETY OF THE PROJECT IS TO BE COMPLETED IN INTERIOR ALASKA*** The U.S. Army Garrison at Fort Wainwright has a requirement to conduct fence repair on the south side of softball field #3 are heaving out of the ground. The contractor will replace the posts for approximately 716LF of fencing with driven posts The Contractor shall provide all labor, fittings, equipment, components, mounts, devices, accessories, transportation, and storage as required to perform all work in accordance with these specifications, commercial practices and industry standards. See statement of work (SOW) and attachments for further information. A site visit will be conducted on 2 May 2017, 10:00 AM Alaska Standard Time (AKST) at BLDG 3015, Department of Public Works (DPW), Facilities Management Conference Room, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Failure to attend the site visit listed in FAR Clause 52.236-27 in order identify obvious site conditions does not constitute a valid claim for differing or unforeseen site conditions.
