The City of Los Angeles Department of Cannabis Regulation has issued commercial cannabis annual license LA-C-25-210043-ANN to Top Hat Derby, Inc. for a Cultivation Specialty Indoor (Type 1A) operation. Located at 12800 W Wentworth Street, Los Angeles, CA 91331, the project occupies a 13,206 square foot facility on a 95,948.9 square foot lot zoned for Limited Manufacturing. The scope of work includes the planting, growing, harvesting, drying, curing, grading, trimming, and packaging of cannabis, with daily operations running from 7am to 4pm, Monday through Sunday. The project is classified as an environmentally benign infill project and has been granted a categorical exemption from further CEQA analysis under Guidelines Section 15301 and 15332, as it remains consistent with the General Plan and local zoning requirements. Approval was granted based on regulatory compliance with Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 104.06. The licensee must maintain adherence to LAMC Sections 104.00 and 105.00, as well as DCR Rules and Regulations, and must secure all necessary permits from the Los Angeles Fire Department, the Department of Building and Safety, and the County Public Health Department. Failure to comply with these regulations or the commission of fraud, material misrepresentation, or the creation of public safety problems may result in the denial or revocation of the license.
