Work will consist of an 0.08' RHMA-Gap Graded Bonded Wearing Course overlay, replacing guardrail, replacing rumble strips, placing new shoulder backing, and replacing high friction surface treatment. All work will be within the existing State right of way. Equipment staging will be confined to paved surfaces and existing non-vegetated turnouts. This project is needed to replace asphalt concrete surfacing on these segments of highway in order to preserve the integrity of the roadway and will benefit the traveling public.
