The Department of National Defence (DND), through the Canadian Forces Health Services (CFHS) group, has a requirement to replace the obsolete fleet of Planmeca Proline XC and Promax Panoramic X-Ray machines. This necessity arises from the unavailability of parts, high repair costs and the inability to upgrade the units for the upcoming Windows 11 update.
The initial requirement is for twenty-eight (28) new Dental Extraoral Radiographic 2D (Two Dimensional) units that are designed to be easily upgraded to 3D (Three dimensional) Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), and eight (8) Dual 2D/3D Panoramic CBCT Radiographic units on an "as and when required" basis. The scope of supply must include delivery, installation, removal and disposal of old units, training, and any related travel and living expenses necessary for the work outlined in Annex A, Statement of Requirement. Additionally, optional quantities may be requested on an "as and when required" basis, as specified in Annex A – Statement of Requirement.
The contract period will be from date of Contract Award to 31 March 2030.
There are Security Requirements associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6 – Security, Financial and Other Requirements, and Part 7 – Resulting Contract Clauses. For more information on personnel and organization security screening or security clauses, bidders should refer to the Contract Security Program of Public Works and Government Services Canada (http://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/esc-src/introduction-eng.html) website.
The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
