Full Description

The 5th Contracting Squadron requires Demo Bldg 2038 Hush House at Minot AFB, ND. The work is 70% general and 30% sitework. The statement of magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Performance Period is 75 calendar days. Work shall be executed in accordance with the required government specifications. Water and electricity required will be furnished by the Government. The work is in a restricted area. Liquidated damages will be assessed for late performance. A one-year Warranty of Construction will be applicable to this requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238910 (Site Preparation Contractors); The Business Size Standard is $14,000,000 in average annual receipts for the last three years. Work of this contract consists of but is not limited to demolishing two existing buildings and concrete foundations including abating asbestos and removing sub-drains: demolishing existing sanitary, water, sewer, natural gas and electrical utilities; demolishing existing oil/water separator; demolishing existing concrete and bituminous pavements; site excavating, grading and waste material disposal; controlling erosion; spreading imported topsoil and restoring turf. The complete solicitation package, which includes the project plans and specifications, will be made available without charge only through the FedBizOpps website at https://fbo.gov/. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from the internet. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on FedBizOpps. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from this site to keep updated. This project will be solicited as 100% Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDOVSB) set-aside, with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract based on "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" process. Solicitation will be available electronically on FedBizOps on or about 6 May 2011 with an anticipated closing date on or about 6 June 2011.
