NOTICE TO OFFERORS: Please notice the following proposal time frame has now been amended from indefinate to 03 August 2012, 4:00 PM AST. See Amendment No. 2 for details. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: The solicitation number has now changed from FA5004-12-R-0008 to FA5004-12-R-C006. QUESTIONS: Offerors will submit questions via email to SSgt Nathaniel Craig no later than 06 July 2012, 3:00 PM Alaska Standard Time. Responses to questions will be posted on FBO within 10-Working days. SITE VISIT: A site visit is here by tentatively setup for 10 July 2012, 9:00 AM Alaska Standard Time. Offerors will be authorized two representatives and will submit the attached "Visitor List" to SSgt Nathaniel Craig at least 48-Hours in advance to attend the site visit. The work consists of the contractor furnishing all engineering, labor, equipment, and materials to perform the work required, in strict accordance with provided specifications and applicable drawings. The following is a summary of work: The contractor will be required to perform a broad range of dismantling, demolition, removal of improvements, lead based paint and asbestos abatement, and soil remediation on Eielson AFB AK, and on associate Air Force properties. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract (IDIQ). The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238910 with a size standard of $14.0 million. This acquisition is set aside for Alaskan 8(a) contractors, and is being solicited under the competitive 8(a) program in accordance with FAR 19.805. All prospective offerors must be certified 8(a) companies within the state of Alaska. THIS SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS ARE PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET ONLY. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program.** The solicitation will be available during the summer of 2012.
