Q/A 1. THE CABINETS ADD UP TO BE LONGER THAN THE TOP..PLEASE ADVISE: 24 Each Countertops/Cabinet/Drawer Consoles - 79-81" length, 19-20" depth, 33-34" height - 2 sets of drawers and 2 sets of cabinets. - Soft close doors/drawers - Solid surface countertops (non-formica) - Corian or Gibraltar - Must contain two 20-22" wide drawer banks with minimum 4 drawers. - Hand wash station with stainless steel under mount sink and chrome faucet. - Stainless steel under mount trash can/bezel. - Knee activated faucet - One 25-27" front opening door cabinet for storage. - Pull out writing surface TOP REQUESTED IS 79 TO 81"LENGTH..CABINETS LISTED ADD UP TO 89" (20" DRAWER BASE X 2 =40"..NEED 24" FOR THE SINK & DROP ..25" FRONT DOOR FOR STORAGE AND PULLOUT WRITNG SURFACE The measurements for this countertop are correct. The drawer sets, cabinet for storage and pullout for writing surface should all be contained within the 79-81" combined length. It should go somewhat like set of drawers, cabinet opening, and another set of drawers. The cabinet opening should be in line/ underneath the sink (allow for plumbing and storage). The pullout for writing surface should just be added within the countertop (perhaps above a set of the drawers?) 2. Are we to provide final cleaning? Yes 3. Will HVAC return air vents in the ceiling require covering? Yes, while working in the room, the vents will be covered 4. How is the task/LED lighting to be wired? Do they need to be hardwired, plugged into existing wall outlets or can they be battery powered? If they are to be hardwired then electrical drawings must be provided . They should be hardwired. See attached Dental Elect.dwg for electrical lay out. 5. Again, are the cabinets to be floor or wall mounted? Since the existing room base is integral self-cove, if cabinets are floor mounted, what type of base will be required? The cabinets are to be wall mounted/floating to provide room for housekeepings ability to clean as well as there are HVAC concerns in some rooms. 6. With solid surface countertops you do not need a stainless steel undermount trash can bezel. You can make the trash bezel out of solid surface OK 7. Please confirm that the only upper wall cabinets are the 64 Dispensing cabinets? No. There are 64 Dispensing units (these must contain cup/towel dispenser as well as have a glove/mask dispenser) There are an additional 113 wall mounted cabinets (these are the upper cabinets for storage that will have the glass door windows on the front and include a minimum of 2 shelves). 8. Based on your minimum dimensions there is not enough room for the sink base with trash can. Based on your salient characteristics you will need a minimum of a 24" wide cabinet. We are showing a 25-27" opening for a cabinet. This should be right below the sinkbase. 9. Please confirm that only the wall hung upper cabinet must have "door windows" on the front? Correct. We would like glass/door windows on upper cabinets to see what is inside. 10. Is the 60 day completion date from once we start the work on site? Yes 11. If we use wall hung base cabinets as we proposed in the previous RFP, it will 4 days to complete a pair of rooms. If we work 7 days a week it will take a minimum of 64 days to complete without leaving room for any contingency.
