AI Contract Overview

The 45th Contracting Squadron has issued a sole source synopsis for the redesign of the Equal Opportunity Advisor Program for DEOMI. The requirement covers R and M Base and LCMS Host JKO Base for performance periods spanning from September 1, 2009, through either April 30, 2010, or August 31, 2010. TIE Today, Inc. has been identified as the only source capable of fulfilling the requirement because they have been working on the project since June 2008. Utilizing a different vendor would result in excessive costs and schedule disruptions due to the need to rebuild work within the established learning content and management systems. This procurement falls under NAICS code 611710 and SIC code 8299. While the government has determined that TIE Today, Inc. is the sole provider, interested firms were given a ten day window from the publication date to identify their capabilities. The contract is managed by the Department of Defense at Patrick AFB, Florida, with Bonnie Pruett serving as the primary point of contact for the requirement.

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for R & M Base (1 September 2009 - 30 April 2010), LCMS Host JKO Base (1 September 2009 - 31 August 2010) and LCMS Host JKO Base (1 September 2009 - 31 August 2010). This is a Sole Source requirement with TIE Today, Inc. IAW FAR 6.302-1. TIE Today, Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement as they currently have a purchase order in place to redesign the Equal Opportunity Advisor Program (EOAP) for DEOMI that they have been working on since June 2008. To initiate a new contract for this requirement with another company who would virtually have to start all over again to function within the established learning content management systems and learning management systems that TIE Today has been utilizing would be extremely costly to the government at this point in time. TIE Today should continue this as a follow on requirement to the initial purchase order to avoid a lapse in service to their customers or schedule disruptions. No solicitation documents exists at this time. This item/service utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 8299 with a business size of $7.0M and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 611710. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that TIE Today, Inc is the only source capable of providing this requirement. Phone calls will not be accepted. Point of contact is Bonnie Pruett, Contract Specialist, 45 CONS/LGCB, 1201 Edward H. White II, Street MS7200, Patrick AFB, FL 32925, contact@example.gov.
