The U.S. Department of the Interior, through the Interior Business Center’s Acquisition Services Directorate, has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under solicitation number 140D0426Q0614 to procure one factory remanufactured, zero total time Continental IO-550F-12B engine for use on Cessna 206G aircraft modified to accept this engine model. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 336412 and is strictly limited to small business concerns, including HUBZone and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business categories. The engine must be completely rebuilt to factory specifications and include dual impulse coupled magnetos, a large 7.88-inch de-congealing oil cooler (P/N 654595), a 24-volt starter, a four-point engine mount, and a spin-on oil filter. The offeror must be an authorized Continental distributor or have a formal agreement with one, which is a mandatory pass/fail qualification. All pricing must be firm-fixed and include the product manufacturer’s warranty, full shipping costs to the government’s designated delivery location, and the core exchange credit to be processed after receipt of the zero-time engine. Delivery is required no later than June 30, 2027, with shipment terms set at FOB Destination.
