Depot Fire Break & Void Detection Surveys

Thameslink Southern Great Northern Limited (TSGN) is seeking a contractor to address fire safety non-compliances across several depots. The project focuses on reviewing existing fire prevention measures within ceiling voids, including fire stopping and fire breaks. The primary deliverable is a comprehensive scope of works for roof void fire protection, which must include fire breaks, fire stopping for existing walls, and a detailed review of void protection aligned with the current fire alarm system. The contract is divided into three geographical lots: Lot 1 covers Bedford, Peterborough, Letchworth, and Welwyn; Lot 2 covers Selhurst, Battersea, Hornsey, Streatham Hill, and Cricklewood; and Lot 3 covers Brighton, Bognor Regis, Hove, Littlehampton, and Horsham. The total estimated value of the project is 540,000 GBP including VAT, with individual lot estimates ranging from 168,000 GBP to 204,000 GBP. The estimated period of performance is one year, from April 26, 2027, to April 25, 2028. Award decisions will be based on a competitive flexible procedure, with evaluation weighted at 60 percent for technical quality and 40 percent for the commercial pricing proposal across all lots. The opportunity is open to small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), and all submissions must be made in English via the electronic portal.
