The New York District Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a contract for a Request for Proposal for the Design and Installation of 3M Fall Protection Systems ? Davit Arm and Detent Anchors at AFO. The Project has four main requirements:(a) Engineering Assessment and Design ? The contractor will be required to evaluate the required installation sites for fall protection equipment and develop a Design Document to appropriately install the equipment.(b) Install Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) ? The Government will provide the fall protection equipment to be installed. The contractor will provide 3M certified installers and install the equipment per the design.(c) Testing and Inspection ? The contractor will test and inspect all installed equipment to ensure it will function as intended.(d) End User Training ? The contractor will provide a training session for AFO employees that will use and maintain the equipment.Offerors should be regularly engaged in the business of installing fall protection systems and be able to provide 3M Certified Installers.
