We are requesting proposals from qualified engineering consultants to provide design services for replacement of the existing East Dorchester Blvd. bridge between Bruce Road and Pine Creek Drive in Greenville. The bridge spans a tributary of Brushy Creek near its discharge into Brushy Creek immediately downstream of where Brushy Creek goes under I-85. The existing bridge is a concrete, 75'L x 38.5'W two lane bridge on timber piles with timber cross-bracing. The bridge is weight restricted.The new bridge is anticipated to be similar in size to the existing structure. The scope of work will consist of all surveying, geotechnical, design, permitting, utility coordination, bid document preparation, and construction engineering inspection associated with design and construction.
