Solicitation W50S7326QA005 is a total small business set-aside for the fabrication, delivery, and installation of two custom commercial-grade, non-refrigerated mobile beverage cabinets for the Building 400 DFAC in Boise, Idaho. The units must be constructed from 14-gauge and 16-gauge stainless steel, measuring 158 inches long by 32 inches deep by 39 inches high, and equipped with eight heavy-duty 6-inch casters each. Technical requirements include a 6-inch high backsplash, pre-drilled utility access points for coffee and soda machines, and a specialized pull-out bottom shelf with double slides to accommodate bag-in-the-box syrup systems. A significant amendment to the scope of work now requires the contractor to handle the demolition, removal, and disposal of existing equipment in addition to the installation of the new cabinets. Due to these expanded requirements, all previous quotes are invalid, and new submissions must account for the full installation and demolition scope. The requested delivery date is December 30, 2026, with inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination. The contract is governed by FAR and DFARS regulations, including requirements for DoD item unique identification and electronic invoicing via the Wide Area WorkFlow system. The final response deadline is September 2, 2026.

AMENDMENT (7 Aug 2026)

1. PURPOSE

This amendment serves as official notification that the Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the fabrication and delivery of two custom commercial-grade mobile beverage cabinets has been amended. A revised Statement of Work (SOW) is now attached to the solicitation.

2. BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT (BLUF)

The amended SOW significantly expands the required scope of work to include on-site installation and demolition. Because of this expansion, all quotes received prior to this amendment no longer meet the scope of the solicitation and are considered invalid. Vendors wishing to compete for this contract must submit new quotes based on the updated requirements.

3. KEY SOW REVISIONS

All offerors must review the amended SOW in its entirety. The most significant changes driving this expanded scope include:

  • Expanded Scope (Installation & Demolition): The contractor must now handle the removal and disposal of the existing equipment and execute the full installation of the newly fabricated cabinets.
  • Detailed Utility Access Points: Precise, documented dimensions are now provided for utility holes. The contractor must pre-drill these access points in the stainless steel top and backsplash for coffee machines, soda fountains, and water/ice machines.
  • Internal Configurations: The internal housing specifications have been updated. This includes specific appliance placement and a new requirement for a pull-out bottom shelf to accommodate the bag-in-the-box (BIB) syrup system.
  • Defined Responsibilities: The SOW establishes clear boundaries for demolition, installation, and utility connections between the Contractor, Government personnel (Civil Engineering

*Note: The overall cabinet dimensions, material requirements, and mobility specifications (casters) remain unchanged.*

4. ACTION REQUIRED FOR ALL VENDORS

Due to the substantial changes in on-site requirements, previously submitted pricing is no longer technically acceptable.

  • If you previously submitted a quote: You must submit a brand new, revised quotation that accounts for the expanded scope if you still wish to be considered for award.
  • For all submissions: Please acknowledge receipt of this amendment when submitting your new quotation.
