At the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), we continuously strive to engage in meaningful communications with industry. In that spirit, members of our procurement community are pleased to join Representative Bennie G. Thompson, Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, in a small business forum during the 49th Annual Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Annual Legislative Conference. On Wednesday, September 11, 2019, from 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., DHS Chief Procurement Officer Soraya Correa will join the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Acting Director E. Darlene Bullock, and other members of the DHS procurement community for a panel discussion focused on doing business with DHS. Panelists will discuss with attendees how to identify and compete for DHS business opportunities. Attendees will also learn about DHS' business initiatives including the Department's Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, and Small Business programs.
