The United States Department of Agriculture, National Finance Center, AMS, Support Services Office, intends to make sole source award to Sungard Availability Services, 505 Huntmar Park Drive, Suite 100, Herndon, VA 20170 for disaster recovery and alternate worksite services. These services are necessary for NFC to continue to provide uninterrupted capability as a result of a continuity of operations event. This requirement is necessary until such time services are successfully moved in-house to the Government. This action is a follow-on to a previous contract award and will provide for the continued use of services previously procured from Sungard Availability. The anticipated date of award is December 1, 2012 with a period of performance of six (6) months with one additional option period of up to six (6) months.
