This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement; market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLIITATION FOR PROPOSALS/PRICING AND NO ONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The Tennessee Air National Guard, McGhee Tyson ANG Base, Louisville, TN is seeking interested parties capable of providing Technical support/software upgrades for DICES III Systems, DICES IV Systems, DICES VOIP Systems, DICES Sub Mux System, technical support/software upgrades shall include 7 x 24 telephone support and email support for all normal software upgrades, and an extended equipment warranty for DICES III-IV System components, and DICES Sub Mux System components, extended equipment warranty shall include repair/replace equipment failing equipment items. Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this sources sought articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 811213, small business size standard $10 Million. All interested Small Business concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 3 April 2012, 10:00 a.m. EST. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, (2)Identification of firm with appropriate business status, i.e. small business, HUBZone business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned business, Section 8 (a) contractor, woman owned small competition for this project, it will be advertised as unrestricted.
