Full Description

Requirment Title: Digitalization The Government intends to award a contract base plus four option years for Media Digitalization Services (DMS) at Defense Media Activity (DMA) locations in California (American Forces Network-Broadcast Center (AFN-BC)) and Maryland by providing all project management, qualified personnel, common tools, test equipment (including calibration) and transportation necessary to accomplish all requirements of this contract. DMS services include, but are not limited to digitize physical media records to archival standards and in preparation for the transfer of digitized visual information media records to the National Archives and Record Administration (NARA). Proposals are sought for individual tasks of the requirement with scalable quantities. Methods and processes described in this Statement Of Objectives (SOO) reflects current methods and practices. Proposals recommending alternative approaches supportive of the archival preservation of DoD media records that are innovative, efficient and more cost effective are encouraged. The applicable NAICS is 519120 with a size standard of $15 million. The solicitation and all attachments will be electronically issued and may be accessed for viewing and downloading at www.fbo.gov. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of all interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments that may occur during the solicitation process. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about April 30, 2018 with a closing date on or about May 31, 2018.
