Solicitation Number: FA8101-13-A-0006 Direct Procurement Move/Local Move Requirement for Unaccompanied Baggage and Household Goods Movement Notice Type: Source Sought Notice Sources Sought Synopsis: SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: In accordance with FAR 10.001, the government is conducting market research to determine whether or not industry possesses sources capable and willing to perform the following requirements for the 72 Air Base Wing (72 ABW) at Tinker Air Force Base (AFB), Oklahoma. This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. It is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS NOTICE OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED. Direct Procurement Move/Local Move Requirement for Unaccompanied Baggage and Household Good Movement: This requirement is for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense (DoD) personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the Direct Procurement Method (DPM). Packing, containerization and local drayage of DPM personal property shipments shall be in accordance with the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials, except as specified herein as government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of DoD personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the DPM. INSTRUCTIONS: Interested vendors are requested to provide the following information: 1) General Information about your firm (Company Name, Address, Point of Contact with Telephone and FAX numbers and E-mail address, GSA Schedule Number (if applicable), Cage Code, DUNS Number, Tax ID Number); 2) Capability Statement (company overview, qualifications, past performance) . Responses to this Notice are due to the government no later than Friday, February 8, 2013 at 12:00 Noon CDT and shall be submitted electronically via email to the attention of Maurice C.
