Solicitation # SPE602-26-R-JBER_JPTSTransportation
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy is seeking interested parties to provide transportation services for Jet Propellant Thermally Stable (JPTS) aviation fuel, moving three bulk fuel containers each holding 15,000 US gallons from DFSP Texas City, Texas, to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. The transportation requires specialized long-haul trucking services under NAICS code 484230, involving coordination between vendor-driven land transport and government-managed maritime segments. The vendor is responsible for hauling the containers from Texas City to Tacoma, Washington, then from the Alaskan port to JBER, where the containers must remain on chassis until the fuel is fully consumed. The government will manage the ocean vessel movements between Tacoma and the Alaskan port. All containers must meet specific technical requirements, including a 3-inch male NPT discharge connection and must stay on trailers during use at JBER. The anticipated contract type is a Firm Fixed Price purchase order, should a solicitation proceed.
