Full Description

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Campbell, KY intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc., 7031 Columbia Gateway Dr. Fl 3 Columbia, MD, 21046-2583. The equipment purchase and installation for the Distributed Antenna System (DAS) to LMR Radios provide adequate radio coverage throughout the new and altered sections within Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. The DAS includes: 380-400 Mhz Bi-Directional Amplifier, 380-420 Mhz yagi antenna /mast, 100 ft. coax cable with polyphaser, 940 ft. plenum-rated coax cable, Internal ceiling mounted antenna (10 ea), Antenna decoupler (10 ea), connectors (25 ea), Three-Way Splitter, and labor. Motorola certified technicians shall provide the installation, service, and maintenance on the Fort Campbell Trunked Radio System. If Non Motorola Certified technicians install, service or maintain this system this will invalidate the entire radio system Authority to Operate (ATO) and void any warranties that have been provided by Motorola. The NAICS code is 334220. The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible Source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 1000 CST on 18 April 2016, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
