Jarvis Crescent Subdivision Jump Start RFEI District of TaylorThe District of Taylor (District) is located in northeast British Columbia with its townsite located on the flats immediately north of the majestic Peace River and along the world-famous Alaska Highway. The district includes 610 private dwellings and a population of more than 1,300 residents.In 2019, the district undertook the subdivision and servicing of a District owned parcel west of Spruce Street and between 102 and 103 Avenue for the purposes of providing diversified housing stock and to accommodate community growth and community transitions for families and seniors. Since completing Jarvis Crescent Subdivision in 2020, the district is issuing this RFP to incentivise the construction of homes on this 50-lot serviced residential neighborhood.The district is committed to creating Jarvis Crescent Subdivision as a desirable place to live, and in 2023 they have invested in the construction of the park area complete with a play structure.This Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) is created to attract home builders as individuals and families seeking homes valued between $300,000 to $450,000 are less likely to have the capacity to custom build.
