The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) is in the process of transitioning its entire bus fleet approximately 2,050 directly operated and 156 contractor-operated buses and 10 operating divisions from compressed natural gas (CNG) to zero emission technologies. The Division 18 Zero Emission Bus (ZEB) Charging Infrastructure Project (Project) will provide battery electric bus charging infrastructure at the Division 18 Bus Maintenance Facility and would upgrade Division 18 to support the change from CNG to zero emission technologies by implementing new charging positions.
