Permit No. 19907 – West Sacramento-Brighton 115kV Optical Ground Wire Replacement

Permit No. 19907, issued by the Central Valley Flood Protection Board, authorizes Pacific Gas and Electric to perform critical infrastructure improvements on the West Sacramento-Brighton 115 kV circuit within the American River Parkway Designated Floodway in Sacramento County. The scope of work includes modifications to lattice steel tower structures at eight locations and tower foundation modifications at five locations. Additionally, the project involves the replacement of optical ground wire and the improvement of all-dielectric self-supporting communication fiber lines, as well as conduit replacement at one specific location.
