DIXIE ROAD NOISE WALL INSTALLATION FROM SPRINGTOWN TRAIL TO COUNTRYSIDE DRIVE, CITY OF BRAMPTON, PROJECT 14-4020B

The Region of Peel has issued solicitation 2026-525T for Project 14-4020B, which involves the installation of approximately 1,225 linear meters of pre-cast concrete noise wall barriers on Dixie Road, extending from Springtown Trail to Countryside Drive in the City of Brampton. The scope of work includes site preparation, clearing, grubbing, and environmental mitigation, with a specific requirement that all panels be dropped into position from above. The project is supported by detailed geotechnical investigation reports, soil characterization studies, and an assessment of past use to ensure compliance with O. Reg. 406/19 regarding excess soil management. Technical specifications require visual uniformity in the color, pattern, and texture of the barriers, and adherence to OPSS standards for grading, topsoil, and sodding. The contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced compliant bidder among prequalified general contractors.
