Full Description

The purpose of this document is to provide Domestic Abuse Services for Traditionally Underrepresented Populations through which the Department of Children and Families (DCF) seeks to maintain, strengthen and/or expand critical, life-saving services in traditionally underrepresented communities throughout the State.
Proposers should demonstrate a documented history of providing trauma-informed, culturally specific services to victims of domestic violence (DV) and their children in the traditionally underrepresented population.
Eligible applicants must meet the definition under Wisconsin Statute Section 49.165 (1)(d): a nonprofit corporation, a public agency, or a tribal government that provides or proposes to provide any of the following domestic abuse services: (1) advocacy and counseling for victims; (2) 24-hour DV hotline; or (3) community education.
The State as represented by DCF intends to use the results of this RFP to award multiple contracts for Domestic Abuse Services as identified in this RFP. See Section 1.12 Contract Term and Funding for additional details.
