The United States Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center intends to award a sole source contract to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, the Original Equipment Manufacturer, for the procurement of two Support Assembly units, part number 70361-25004-041, National Stock Number 1615-01-158-5792. These components are critical for the maintenance of MH-60T aircraft and are required to replace parts damaged by corrosion or failure. Because Sikorsky holds exclusive rights to the necessary technical data and drawings, and the item is the only one approved by the USCG Aircraft Configuration Control Board, the requirement is unrestricted and conducted as a sole source acquisition under Basic Ordering Agreement SPE4A1-22-G-0005. The procurement is classified under NAICS code 336413 and Product Service Code 1615. Delivery is requested within 200 days after the receipt of order, with early shipments encouraged. Inspection and acceptance will be performed at the origin by the Defense Contract Management Agency. While the government intends to negotiate exclusively with Sikorsky, responsible sources may submit quotations by September 24, 2026. Final award will be based on a determination of fair and reasonable pricing, utilizing methods such as market research, previous purchase comparisons, and the Independent Government Cost Estimate.
