AI Contract Overview
The fiscal year 2026 Prostate Cancer Research Program (PCRP) Idea Development Award (IDA) aims to support innovative approaches to prostate cancer research that have strong potential to advance the PCRP mission. All applications must target one of the designated FY26 PCRP Overarching Challenges, ensuring that funded projects align closely with priority research areas. This award encourages novel ideas that can significantly contribute to understanding or treating prostate cancer. A notable aspect of this award is its inclusion of a New Investigator Category, designed to foster research from early-career investigators within ten years of completing their terminal degree. These new investigators must collaborate with experienced prostate cancer researchers, promoting mentorship and integration into the research community. The award is administered by the Department of the Army through the U.S. Army Medical Research and Acquisition Activity, with support available through the eBRAP Help Desk for applicants seeking assistance.
