DPW Spring Valley Sidewalk Project Troy Street Phase II

The DPW Spring Valley Sidewalk Project Troy Street Phase II is a forecast project managed by the County of San Diego, specifically through the Housing Community Development Services. The project focuses on infrastructure improvements on the north side of Troy Street, spanning from Central Avenue to Bancroft Drive in the Spring Valley community. The scope of work includes the installation of approximately 1,044 feet of concrete sidewalk, two ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps, a marked crosswalk, and other incidental surface improvements. Funding for this phase will support a comprehensive range of activities, including the design phase, utility coordination, right-of-way acquisition, and the administrative processes for advertising and awarding the construction contract, as well as the construction costs themselves. The project was approved by the County Board of Supervisors on March 11, 2025, and has been granted a categorical exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act under Section 15301 for minor alterations of existing public facilities.
